Rescue Dog Portraits

Portraits of rescue dogs

Today I want to share with you these two rescue dog portraits of Skip & Frances. Skip is a rescue from Romania and Frances is a rescue from Macedonia. Skip is very reactive to other dogs and Frances is frightened of humans. I wanted to share these to show that your dog doesn’t have to be impeccably behaved to be able to have a shoot. Neither does your dog have to be a pure bred pedigree.

Both dogs were on a lead throughout the shoot so they were safe and there was no danger of flight. With the handling help of their owner I was able to create a beautiful set of images of both dogs. The shoot took place on location at Cowleaze Woods, one of my favoured locations. They were both so brilliant and I think they definitely enjoyed the shoot more especially the treats!
